Experience the magic of winter across Japan and China on this spectacular small-group journey created especially for solo travellers. With your own private room and a maximum of just 12 travellers, discover the glowing snow sculptures of Sapporo, relax in a traditional Japanese ryokan and onsen, experience the extraordinary ice world of Harbin and walk the Great Wall dusted in snow.
A few of the things I think make this journey particularly special are:
- Sapporo Snow Festival, including the illuminated sculptures and an evening visit
- beautiful Otaru in winter, with its canal, snow-covered streets and sushi lunch
- a night in a traditional Japanese ryokan in Noboribetsu, including private onsen time and Kaiseki dinner
- Harbin Ice & Snow World, plus Sun Island Snow Sculpture Park and the Ice Lantern Garden
- Beijing, including the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Great Wall at Mutianyu
- some lovely food experiences along the way, including Hokkaido seafood, sushi, Peking duck and hot pot.
International flights with Singapore Airlines are included, along with premium accommodation, transfers, touring and attractions, selected meals and tipping for the guides and drivers.
